Privacy policy

We process personal data in accordance with the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP). This page explains what data is collected when you visit this website and when you write to us, why we need it and how long we keep it.

No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or social media services. No profile is created — which is why there is no cookie banner: there is simply nothing to accept.

Fonts are served from our own server, not from Google Fonts. Just by viewing these pages, your IP address is not transmitted to any third party.

Server logs

When you open the website, the server automatically records the technical data every browser sends: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, data volume transferred, browser type and operating system, and the previously visited page. This data is used solely to operate the site securely, fend off attacks and locate errors. It is not combined with other sources and is deleted, as a rule, within 90 days at the latest.

Enquiries, proposals and orders

When you write to us, we process the data you provide: name, email address and the description of your project. We need it to answer the enquiry, prepare the proposal and carry out and invoice the order.

Enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted no later than twelve months after the last contact. Data on completed projects is kept for the statutory commercial retention period of ten years.

Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell data. It is only disclosed where necessary to provide the service or where the law requires it. In particular: to the registry operator when registering a domain in your name; to the print shop, when we arrange printing, the details needed to produce and deliver the order (such as the delivery address); and to our accountants for bookkeeping. Everyone involved is bound to confidentiality.

Security

The website is served exclusively over encrypted HTTPS and runs on infrastructure we manage ourselves. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss and misuse. Absolute security can never be guaranteed for transmission over the internet.

Your rights

Under the revFADP you have the right to request information about the personal data we process, to ask for its correction or deletion, to restrict processing and to object to it. You may also request the release of the data you provided to us.

To do so, write to hola@mifirma.ch. To protect your data we may verify your identity before providing information. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC/EDÖB) in Bern.

Changes

We may adapt this policy at any time, for instance if our services or tools change. The version published on this page applies.
