Brand identity

Give your business a face people recognise.

Logo, colours, typefaces and a manual that puts in writing how everything is used. So your business looks equally serious on the website, on the invoice and on the shop sign.

To begin with

What is a brand identity?

Your brand is not just the logo: it is everything people recognise as yours. The logo, yes, but also the colours, the typeface, how your business cards look, your invoice, your shop window and your posts.

The trouble starts when none of that is written down anywhere. Then every print shop uses a different shade of red, every employee spells the name their own way, and the logo ends up stretched on the sign. The business looks like five different companies — and none of them looks big.

That is why a serious identity ends in a brand manual: the document that says which logo goes where, the exact colours, the typeface and what must never be done. With it, anyone — you, an employee, a print shop or an outside designer — can represent your business without getting it wrong.

It is exactly what we did for ourselves and for Ritual ERP: a manual, a set of master files and one clear rule not to stray from them.

The service

What we do for you.

  • An original logo, or yours made technically sound
  • Versions for light, dark and single-colour backgrounds
  • Colour palette with values for screen and print
  • Licensed typefaces and a clear text hierarchy
  • Brand manual as a PDF: rules, correct and incorrect use
  • Applications: business card, invoice, presentation, email signature
  • Avatars and favicon for social media, website and Google
  • Master files in vector format: yours, for good

04

Manual

Everything gets written down and the master files are ready to use.

Frequently asked

What we get asked.

What is a brand manual for?

So your brand looks the same no matter who produces it. The manual states which logo goes where, the exact colours, the typeface and what must not be done.

Without it every print shop, every employee and every outside designer improvises, and within two years your business has five different faces.

I already have a logo. Is that enough?

Almost always yes. We start from it, get it technically right (vector files, versions for light and dark backgrounds, minimum sizes) and build the rest around it: colours, typefaces and applications. We only suggest a redesign if the logo is genuinely holding the business back.

Which files do I get?

All of them, and they are yours: the logo in vector (SVG and PDF) and as transparent PNG, favicon and social avatars, the typeface with its licence, the templates and the manual as a PDF. With that you can work with any print shop or designer — including without us.

How long does it take?

A full identity with manual usually takes two to four weeks, depending on the review rounds. If you need to go out sooner with something decent, we deliver the logo and colours first and the manual afterwards.
