Google Business

Get found and chosen near you.

Half of your customers will look you up on Google Maps before they open your website. Your Google Business profile decides whether you appear — and with what face.

The basics

What is the Google Business profile?

When someone searches for "hairdresser near me" or "massage Zurich", the first thing Google shows is not websites: it is the map with three businesses. That card with photos, opening hours, reviews and a call button is the Google Business profile.

For a local business, that profile weighs as much as the website itself. It is free — but it does not create itself, and a half-done profile with old hours, no photos or unanswered reviews subtracts rather than adds.

Two things decide almost everything: the primary category determines which searches you appear in, and the reviews determine who gets chosen. Both are worked on, with method and consistency.

Frequently asked

What we get asked.

Isn't my website enough?

The website convinces; the profile makes you visible. In local searches the map appears before the websites, and many customers decide right there: opening hours, photos, reviews and the call button. You need both.

Why doesn't my business appear on Google Maps?

Usually because the profile does not exist, is not verified, or is registered to someone else. The category matters too: the primary category decides which searches you appear in. We diagnose it and fix it.

Can you buy reviews?

No, and we do not do it: Google detects bought reviews and penalises the profile, and a sanction costs more than starting from zero. What we do build is an honest routine: asking the happy customer for a review at the right moment, with the direct link.

What is verification?

Google checks that the business exists and that you own it: by postcard with a code, by phone or by video, depending on the case. Without verification the profile is not shown; we manage the process with you to the end.

Your project and its continuity

The proposal identifies domain and account ownership, deliverable files and exit arrangements. Website delivery does not transfer ownership of Ritual ERP source code or third-party licences. Integration costs, data export and service dependencies are specified separately.
